Applying to a program
Applying to a programPlease follow these instructions to apply online to the program you have selected. - Go to Programs at
the top of the page and search for the program you want to apply to study abroad. You can search for your program by name, location, and/or other variables. Be sure to review the program information to make sure it is your correct program. Non-UF programs ONLY: If you have selected a program or term that does not exist in our website, please complete the Study Abroad Program Proposal and submit it by email. You will be notified to your UFL account when your program is available in our website and you are able to apply online. (Please note that this process can take several business days if you are applying for a non-UF program that must be approved by the Registrar's Office.) - Once you find your program, click "Apply Now" and the system will ask if you are currently a registered user at UF.
As an UF student: You will answer "Yes" and you will be able to log in by using your Gatorlink ID and password. At this time, you will be asked to supply your emergency contact information.
As a non-UF student: After you click "Apply Now", you will be requested to create a login account. Please answer "No" to the questions: "Are you currently a registered user at UF?" and "Have you receive your login credential already via email?"
Once you create your account, you will receive an automatic email with a temporary password and the link to the login page for UF students. PLEASE click where it says "Non-UF Students: please click here to log in" to login using your temporary password. A new page will open and you will enter a permanent password. Please disregard the "Login Unsuccessful" message and return to the non-UF students login page. Now you can login with your new permanent password and access to your home page where you will find your application. Remember: each time you try to login to our website and review your application, please make sure you are using the non-UF login page. If you still have problems, you can try to reset your password by clicking in "Forgot your password?" When you reset your password, you should receive an email with a temporary password. Please make sure you are using the non-UF login page to log in and you are not misspelling your password. - The next screen will present your general information distributed in different sections: You can find the program you have applied on the "Application Filed" section. On the other sections, you will be able to upload a picture of yourself, your information requests, messages for you, your CC email address, your Mobile Phone Test Messaging, your address on file and additional information you may want to submit.
- On the "Application Filed" section, you will see the name of your program highlighted in blue. Click on the name of the program you have applied to access to your application.
- Right after you apply, your application will be in Pending status (Pre-acceptance phase). Your application page is divided into several categories on the right side of the screen. Those are the Pre-Acceptance requirements for your study abroad application:
