UF at Salzburg offers programs in Music and European Studies. Music majors in any degree track may take music history and private lessons. European Studies program is ideal for History and Political Science majors. All courses are offered through the Salzburg College. HIGHLIGHTS - Courses taught in English

- Completion of this program counts for the capstone experience required for EU Studies minors.

European Studies: Choose any two of the following courses - History, Politics, and Culture of Austria (H, I)
- Economics and Politics of the European Union (S, I)
- German course may be available based on demand; please contact the program coordinator.
Eligibility: UF students who: - Have a 2.5 GPA
- Open to all majors
- Must submit an essay with statement of purpose
UF in Salzburg
The Salzburg academic program was established to provide students with an opportunity to earn six credits for summer study. Two components are offered: European Studies and Music. Instruction is in English (except for the German language class, if available). Housing Students are housed in Austrian homes with Austrian families (one or two students per home). The homestay provides a great opportunity to learn about Austrian culture from an ?insider? perspective. Breakfast and dinner are taken with the host family. Lunch is provided at Salzburg College. Meals are included in the program cost. Academic Credits As this is a UF program, credits taken can satisfy major, minor, elective, and summer residency requirements with prior approval. Transfer credit will be granted for all courses taken at the Salzburg College. Program Cost: $ TBA

Financial Aid University of Florida students needing financial aid should apply through UF Student Financial Affairs (SFA). Non-UF students needing financial aid must apply to their home institutions. Scholarships Application for summer scholarships are administered by the UF International Center.
