UF in Brussels - EU Studies
Summer 2010 (dates TBA) 
The UF in Brussels program offers students an opportunity to earn 6 credits at Vesalius College. Students will spend approximately six weeks in Brussels in an interdisciplinary program.
Highlights Program is part of the European Union Studies Minor and Certificate program At least one course will focus on the European Union Lodging in fully furnished apartments Courses taught in English Cultural excursions Guest speakers discuss current events and/or course related topics. Course Offerings - 3-credit courses One required European Union Studies Program course: EUS 4931: Current Issues in the EU. Other courses vary each year. Available in previous years: ~ Art in Belgium ~ Introduction to Journalism ~ Int'l Business Negotiations - Theory and Practice ~ Euro Skepticism in the EU (EU Studies Program course) All courses are rigorous and require both reading and written work. Each class meets for eight hours each week.
 Eligibility UF and non-UF students with 2.75 GPA or higher, in any major, who submit one letter of recommendation, an essay, and a recent transcript.

Program fee TBA - undergraduates TBA - graduates Fee includes: Tuition for 6 credits, housing, orientation, cost of instruction, international health insurance and medical emergency assistance. Round-trip airfare is not included.
Academic Credits The UF in Brussels program is UF-sponsored program. Credits from courses taken can satisfy major, minor, elective and university requirements. Transfer credit will be earned for courses taken with Vesalius College faculty. Housing The program offers lodging in fully furnished apartments with kitchen facilities. Students share bedrooms. Every attempt will be made to ensure apartment locations are convenient to the university and central attractions. Students are responsible for all their meals.
