Every semester between 140-180 exchange and study abroad students enroll at Monash University, located in Melbourne, Australia's second largest city. Monash University is a vibrant and energetic place of learning, aiming to provide students with a challenging educational experience. The university has eight campuses and 10 faculties, including medicine, education, engineering, as well as law among many other areas. Located on the Monash's University - Clayton campus, the Law school houses the Unversity's Law Library, three computer laboratories and five lecture theaters. The law school administers 14 programs as well as four research centers, committed to advancing research in existing and emerging areas of the law. The law school has more than 60 full time academic staff and faculty and a total enrollment of 2000 students. Attractively located on the banks of the Yarra River and the shores of Port Phillip, Melbourne is known as a place of contradictions. A leafy, bay side community on the 'upside-down', brown Yarra River, it is cosmopolitan, suburban, cultivated, football crazy, conservative and a haven for the avant-garde. These migrants have boosted Melbourne's population to 3.3 million and their influences are witnessed in Melbourne's robust and varied architecture, restaurants, festivals and entertainment. From its spectacular coastline to the vast outback, to the rain forest of the North, Australia offers opportunities that simply do not exists anywhere else in the world. The Florida-Melbourne Semester Abroad Law Program will provide students with a diversified curriculum. The courses available at the Florida-Melbourne Semester Abroad Law Program include areas like: banking and finance law, internet and electronic law, commercial law, international and comparative law, tribunal procedures, criminal justice and litigation among many other interesting topics. Students can transfers up to 14 credit hours per academic year. Florida - Melbourne Semester Abroad Law Program runs from February until July.
