Utrecht University is the Netherlands' top university, and one of the most prestigious institutions in the world. University College Utrecht (UCU) is the international liberal arts honors college of Utrecht University. The Netherlands is a small country in the Northwest of Europe. While famous for windmills, cheese, world-renowned artists (Van Gogh and Rembrandt among them), and open-mindedness, the Netherlands has much more to offer students in terms of culture, art, history, and memorable experiences. Utrecht is the 4th-largest city in the Netherlands, and is very much an international student town. Its characteristic wharf-basement structured canals, bicycles, and Dom Tower make an incredibly picturesque backdrop for study.  Utrecht is one of the central rail hubs of the Netherlands, and is well-connected with the rest of Europe.
