Spend 4 weeks of your summer with the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communication. As one of the largest study abroad programs at UF, the CJC will venture to beautiful Florence, Italy, May 8-3, 2018. With a mix of advertising, journalism, telecommunications, and public relations courses, students will study and explore a number of historical and stunning cities throughout Italy, including:  Florence (our home-base), Siena, San Gimignano, Chianti, Pompeii, Capri, Sorrento, Rome, Venice, and more. Both undergraduate and graduate students of all majors are welcome.

  •  Immerse yourself in Italian culture by living in one of the most historic cities in the world: Florence
  • Excursions to Siena, San Gimignano, Chianti, Pompeii, Sorrento, Capri, and Rome
  • Optional 3-day excursion to Venice
  • Learn how to make real pasta and pizza in a personalized cooking class
  • Take a wine tour through one of Italy's fines wine regions (Chianti)

While in Florence, students will be housed in twin-room, self-catered apartments throughout the city. These apartments will be fully furnished and include a full-size kitchen, bathroom, and living room.
