Course Information

College of Engineering

CDA 3101 Introduction to Computer Organization (3 UF Credits)
Organization of computing systems, logical basis of computer structure, machine representation of instructions, data, flow control, and assembly language programming

CIS 4956 Overseas Studies (3 transfer credits)
Organization of Chinese social media – WeChat, Chinese culture, economics, and computer industry, survival Chinese language. 

Total Number of Credits Offered: 6 credits


You will stay in a single dorm room with a private bath. There will be UF Faculty on-site.

Airport Pick up:

SWUFE will arrange for airport pickup and drop-off services. For students who arrive between 9am to 8pm, the pick up service is free of charge. For students who arrive between 8:00 pm and 10:00 pm, the pick up charge will be 200 rmb. For students who arrive between 10:00 pm and 9:00 am (next day), the pick up charge will be 400 rmb.


Financial Aid

Most financial aid that you would receive on campus during the summer can be applied toward the cost of this study abroad program; however, all financial aid eligibility is determined by Student Financial Affairs. You must speak with your financial aid advisor to determine what aid can be applied to the cost of this study abroad program, including scholarships. 2018 Pricing

2018 Undergraduate Program Fee: $3,485

A $350 nonrefundable deposit toward the total cost of the program is due at the time of application. The remaining fees are due no later than 45 days prior to departure.

What's Included:

Tuition for 6 credits, all accommodations, airport pickup and drop off, lectures and seminars, all field excursions & entrance fees, international health insurance, and emergency medical assistance.

What's Not Included:

Round-trip airfare, meals, course packet, additional personal travel, and personal expenses.
