University of Botswana

This program offers students the opportunity to earn credits toward their degree while spending a semester or academic year at the University of Botswana, located in the capital city of Gaborone.
- Exclusive agreement between University of Florida and University of Botswana
- Classes taught in English
- Full spectrum of course offerings at all eleven colleges of University of Botswana
- In-country orientation by U. Botswana upon arrival to Botswana
As this is a UF approved program, credits taken can satisfy major, minor, and university requirements with prior approval. Transfer credit will be granted for all courses taken at the University of Botswana.
University of Florida students needing financial aid should apply through UF Student Financial Affairs (SFA). Non-UF students needing financial aid must apply to their home institutions.

Partial scholarships for UF students are available on a competitive basis through the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, the Honors program, as well as the International Center.
Students receiving financial aid may defer payment for up to 60 days after departure.
Application deadlines are: For Fall 2011 and A/Y 11-12: March 1, 2011.
